ACOUSTINAUTS (Buy CDs by this artist) Inhale Einstein (PopLlama Products) 1987 It's easy to imagine this offbeat quartet, guitars in hand, striding through the streets of Seattle, regaling the local folks even those backing away in confused fear with their intelligently loopy songs. Keeping things light and folky, the vocal foursome comes on like Devo's hick cousins on the semi-amusing Inhale Einstein, playing unaffected country ("Don't You Dare Walk Out of My Life (Without Me)," "Strangers When We Met") and singing about weird science ("Inhale Einstein"), weird religion ("Children of Macedonia") and weird romance ("Big Sexin'").
