This Australian synth'n'guitar quintet was an MTV-generation hybrid that bore a passing resemblance to several bands (Men Without Hats, Talk Talk) and the vocal stylings of Psychedelic Furs singer Richard Butler. The album's lyrics are clumsy and, in spots, pretentious, but the music is varied (maybe too varied) and well-played. Nothing worth recommending but nothing horrible either.
