NEW OCCUPANTS (Buy CDs by this artist)
The New Occupants EP (Danger) 1982

Not only does this Minnesota duo make music with machines (synthesizers), they even sing about 'em on the eponymous four-song 12-inch. A strong dance beat and plenty of weird noises add the proper ambience to such tongue-in-chic romps as "It's Time to Become Robots" and "Mechanical Rights," a cute look at cybernetic dating rituals. Slick and enjoyable.
