I'm the producer of the soon-to-be-filmed Grant Hart documentary "Every Everything: The Music, Life & Times of Grant Hart." The movie is being directed by Gorman Bechard. We're the same people who made the Replacements doc, "Color Me Obsessed" and the Archers of Loaf concert film, "What Did You Expect?" You can watch a trailer and find out the details about "Every Everything" (as well as find links to our past work) at http://www.EveryEverything.com

Hmmm....I haven't seen either of those earlier films, but after seeing Grant perform here last year, I'll be interested to check this one out.

There is a nice Q&A on Youtube with Gorman Bechard and Grant Hart about the Replacements film (which is quite good, despite what reservations you may have about the way it's done - no 'Mats music or images at all).
Here's the link to it :

I think these Bechard films are important - it's good to have sort of a living history of these artists from that era.
Grant Hart has always struck me as a fundamentally good guy which given his history with heroin doesn't mesh - as that drug is almost always a destroyer of decency among other things.
He is certainly one of those cases where liking a lot of his songs made me like him or what I perceived him to be - there was/is something genuinely warm and compelling about him.
